- Consistent distance: Start with one rotation at the appropriate distance for your knife before moving up to multiple rotations.
- Recover between rounds: Never throw with people or animals in the shooting area. Secure the environment before each throw.
Care for your throwing knives
- After each session clean the blades with a dry cloth, especially if you have worked outdoors with humidity.
- Apply a thin film of light oil before long-term storage.
- The tips wear with use; when they lose penetration capacity, touch them up with stone or file maintaining the original profile.
