Cudeman throwing knives: precision and weight for the throw

Knife throwing is discipline, technique, and repetition. To train and compete you need a blade designed specifically for that function: balanced at the center of gravity, resistant to impacts against the target, and aesthetically pleasing enough to accompany you as an enthusiast's piece. Our throwing knives are made in Albacete with tough, low-hardness steel so they withstand impacts without chipping the edge, and they are offered in small or large formats, with satin or painted finish, and also in packs of 3 units to train in series without waiting to recover between throws.

Why our throwing knives are right for you

  • Careful balance: Center of gravity positioned to favor a consistent rotation in multi-spin throws.
  • Tough steel: Low hardness but high resistance to impacts against wood and target; they endure long sessions without chipping.
  • Practical finishes: Matte paint that reduces reflections outdoors, or classic satin for a more traditional finish.

Pack or single piece

To train progressing with discipline, the pack of 3 units is the most practical option: throw three times, recover, repeat. Available in satin or painted finish as you prefer. If you only need to replace a lost or damaged blade, we also offer single throwing knives in small and large formats.

Basic throwing tips

  • Suitable target: Always use soft wood targets (poplar, cottonwood, or pine) mounted on a safe structure.
  • Consistent distance: Start with one rotation at the appropriate distance for your knife before moving up to multiple rotations.
  • Recover between rounds: Never throw with people or animals in the shooting area. Secure the environment before each throw.

Care for your throwing knives

  • After each session clean the blades with a dry cloth, especially if you have worked outdoors with humidity.
  • Apply a thin film of light oil before long-term storage.
  • The tips wear with use; when they lose penetration capacity, touch them up with stone or file maintaining the original profile.
