The blade that responds when you collect the trophy

In the heat of the hunt or after hours of stealthy stalking, the moment of collecting the trophy demands maximum safety and equipment that won't falter. Real hunting gets equipment dirty, wet, and puts every millimeter of it to the test. That's why our hunting knives are manufactured in Albacete to guarantee you total control among blood, mud, and moisture. Whether you need the power of a finishing model like the 104-C (Cudeman Rehalero), the surgical precision of a pure skinner like the 137-L (Cudeman Hakoon), or the enormous versatility of the 254-C (Cudeman Akeley), here you will find the definitive hunting tool that dignifies the shot.

Why our hunting knives are right for you

  • Confident grip: Ergonomic designs with guards and finger grooves designed to prevent your hand from slipping onto the blade, even when covered in fluids.
  • Hunting heritage: You will carry a piece crafted by expert hands that understand the tradition and exact needs of the hunter in the field.
  • Proven effectiveness: Concave and flat grinds that cleanly separate meat, maximizing yield and respecting the trophy without unnecessary tearing.

Steel and edge performance during dressing

Working on a carcass requires continuous and tenacious cutting. We select steels like reliable molybdenum vanadium or high-end alloys that withstand contact with tendons and cartilage without losing their bite at the first attempt. Your advantage in the field? Edge retention that allows you to fully skin and dress without constant stopping, coupled with remarkable corrosion resistance against blood. And when it's time to sharpen the blade after the day, you can restore its original cutting capacity without mechanical complications.

Construction and structural strength

Big game hunting demands robustness, especially when it comes to finishing off or separating joints. That's why we firmly opt for full tangs in our most demanding models. The steel extends through the entire handle, providing balanced weight and a monolithic, indestructible block-like feel under logical use. These blades are manufactured to withstand reasonable torsion and the harsh treatment of the outdoors, though always remembering that technique and clean cutting take precedence over brute force.

Handle and control with wet hands

A slip while skinning is not an option. We have studied the texture and volume of each handle to mitigate hand fatigue when the cold bites or gloves get in the way. We use both unalterable and hygienic synthetic materials, such as micarta or rubber, as well as classic options that provide the status of traditional hunting, such as noble woods and antlers. Each material is crafted to anchor to your palm, offering maneuverability and safety at the most difficult cutting angles.

Sheath and silent portability

A hunter knows that metallic noise ruins an approach. To avoid this, each knife comes with a custom-made sheath, designed, die-cut, and sewn in our own workshops. By adapting the leather or technical material to the exact silhouette of models like the Hakoon or Rehalero, we ensure firm retention that holds the knife without play. Your movements through dense woodland will be silent, and you will have the certainty that your tool remains on your belt, ready for quick drawing.

Hunting use scenarios

  • The finishing blow: Double-edged, long blades with a sharp point for quick, safe, and humane penetration when dispatching the animal.
  • Skinning: Wide bellies and curved edges that work close to the hide, separating the skin with long strokes without puncturing the meat.
  • Dressing and butchering: Versatile and robust knives for cleaning, cutting, and preparing the carcass at the same location as the shot.

Care and maintenance after the hunt

  • Wash the blade with water and neutral soap as soon as possible to remove blood and fluid residue that can stain the steel.
  • Be meticulous with drying: use a clean cloth and ensure no moisture remains where the steel meets the handle scales.
  • If you have deer or bull horn handles, store them in a very dry environment and never leave them soaking. However, if your handle is made of woods like olive, cocobolo, or walnut, a very light application of natural oil is tolerated to maintain its luster.
  • If the season ends, rub the blade with a little protective oil before storing the knife in its sheath until the next hunt.
  • Hone the edge periodically with a sharpening steel or leather strop; a sharp skinning knife is the safest and most efficient tool in your kit.
